The Angel of the Waters

I never did get a good picture of the Angel of the Waters statue in the center of Bethesda Fountain, so I'm using this one from the New York Times of April 3rd (with photo credit). These red-tailed hawks that have lived in Central Park for perhaps ten years now are real celebrities among many New Yorkers, although when the birders set up their scopes in the park trained on the hawks' nest it's still a majority of those passing by who are hearing about them for the first time.
