The Trails Committee has been asked to help clear spurge laurel that's growing alongside the paved part of the Airport Trail, so John and I checked it out today. We're told that uprooting it is pretty difficult, because its roots go "all the way to Shanghai." A little bit discouraging. So we'll see.
