Most deciduous trees on the island have lost their leaves, but some of the oaks are hanging onto theirs. This one at First and Spring is just beginning to lose leaves -- from the top, as oaks do, unlike poplars which lose theirs starting from the bottom. The sun came out late this afternoon after downpours most of the day, and I raced down to get this picture.
